Women of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors

History Made in San Diego County

FounderFuego joins San Diegans to celebrate a historic moment in the history of the County of San Diego. Three talented women with business, public service, and nonprofit backgrounds are on the Board of Supervisors, including the first Latina and first Black woman and women now hold a historic majority on the board. ¡Eso!

Congratulations to Chairwoman Nora Vargas, Vice-Chair Terra Lawson-Remer, and Supervisor Monica Montgomery Steppe! Join us in celebrating this monumental occasion that brings diverse women perspectives to the table to represent the community. Representation matters and paves the way for more women and girls to aspire to run for elected office.
